Reports emanating from Kollywood say that Shruti Haasan, on top in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries, has agreed to pair up opposite Sivakarthikeyan in his next film which is likely to be his first film as a producer.
It may be recalled that more than three weeks back, Sivakarthikeyan was ‘attacked’ by Kamal Haasan and Shruti Haasan’s fans at Madaurai Airport when he commented adversely about her clothes worn at an awards ceremony. The unexpected attack later made Sivakarthikeyan somewhat (un)popular and even superstar Rajinikanth rang him up to inquire about what had transpired at Madurai.
Shruti, being a thorough professional, had earlier confirmed that she got the offer to pair up opposite Sivakarthikeyan but claimed that she hadn’t made any decision as she hadn’t yet checked her call-sheet diary which was full for the next 6-8 months. It now turns out that Shruti has given the ‘green signal’ to star as Sivakarthikeyan’s heroine in his next film to be directed by debutant director Bakkiyaraj Kannan.
P.C. Sreeram would be the cinematographer of the film whose title hasn’t yet been finalized.
